Setting up the Bank Holiday weekend in a lively manner, Yousef returns to his London home once again and delivers another installment of his Circus extravaganza. Another rammed session saw Booka Shade, Uto Karem, Circus recordings signing David Glass and of course, Yousef once again present the full spectrum of authentic House and Techno to possibly London’s finest clubbing crowd.

Keeping his foot on full throttle, Yousef once again goes about booking the finest DJs who will be packing big punches for the next event… Ladies and gentleman Circus gives you Reboot.

German DJ and producer of some note, Reboot or Frank Heinrich as his Mum knows him has been living and breathing electronic music since he looked old enough to sneak into Sven Vath’s infamous Omen club in his hometown of Frankfurt. Clearly those early Techno schoolings have influenced his productions and approach to Djing but Reboot also works across a huge musical spectrum from to Jazz to world music right through to classic House. This kind of depth and breadth has allowed Reboot to release his studio outputs on a plethora of labels such as Connaisseur, Supplement Facts, Combi Int, Moon Harbour, Cadenza, Renaissance and Cecille. And as a successful DJ he has played across the planet in some of the key venues and festivals such as Australia (Stereosonic Festival), USA (WMC, Electric Zoo Festival, etc). Asia (Zouk, Womb) South America (D-edge, Creamfields Brazil, Chile, Etc.) and of course all major clubs in Europe.

Bringing the defintaive Circus sound to the evenings proceedings will be Circus boss, Yousef. Heading back to the UK for this session from his Summer home in Ibiza where he is overseeing his Circus residency at Booom on the Island, Yousef will be adding his deft touch to the session. It has been quite a summer so far with international DJ dates, heavy studio sessions for forthcomning releases on the Circus imprint which includes the release of his Circus X part 2 featuring tracks from more Circus friends, including an exclusive from Laurent Garnier, Steve Lawler, Eats Everything plus a Yousef and Sasha collaboration. Yousef will also be following up his Defected signed hit of last year, ‘Beg’ with ‘I See’ featuring the vocal talent that is Charli Taft and it will include remixes by Shadow Child and also ready to drop is before the summer ends is the monumental ‘Float Away’ track signed to Warner Music via the A&R hands of Damian Lazarus and Pete Tong. On top of all this Yousef is overseeing every aspects of Circus Ibiza. The Yousef / Circus machine is at full speed, warp factor 10 or as Yousef likes to put it, and the only way he likes it, relentless.

Circus at Booom runs every Thursday until October 3rd and features friends and family of Circus including Deetron, Booka Shade, Acid Mondays, Laurent Garnier, Butch, Steve Lawler, Uto Karem, Catz and Dogz, Guti, Radio Slave, Simon Baker plus many more. Full details –

HIIO Feat. Terri B! – Something About You

February 28, 2013

South American duo HIIO (pronounced H2O) have arrived in 2013 with their attempt at creating a classic house tune. There’s definitely some classic house vibes here in the synths, the Planet Perfecto influence is pretty obvious. But this track is much slower than anything Planet Perfecto ever put out, and as a result it’s not… View Article

Arty, Nadia Ali & BT – Must Be The Love (Official Music Video)

February 24, 2013

BT is a legend of Trance production, Nadia Ali is a legend of Trance vocals. Any team up between these two is bound to be good, but when you throw in relative newcomer but excellent producer Arty into the mix as well, are we witnessing collaborative genius or are too many cooks spoiling the broth?… View Article

Kirsty – Hands High (Afrojack Radio Edit)

February 23, 2013

Who is Kirsty? We don’t know either, but this looks like her attempt to crack the commercial dance scene and she’s enlisted the help of Afrojack who provides remix duties. Apparently Sander Van Doorn said “supporting!” and David Guetta said “huge!” Although we’d question how much thought they gave to their answers when questioned. The… View Article
