Art V Cancer was set up originally as Raid71’s Emporium when Raid71 was receiving extensive treatment for a rare incurable lymphoma at Manchester Royal Infirmary. Following the success of selling prints to raise money for CALLM and support from other artists on social networking sites – Raid71’s Emporium was reinvented as Art V Cancer and has now raised over £8700 / $13,300 for Cancer Charities (CALLM, CLIC Sargent, Prostate Cancer UK, The Breast Cancer Campaign, Cancer Research UK) and sells hundreds of original limited edition prints worldwide.
At 2022NQ in Manchester there will be a selection of art work by international and established artists including Raid71, Godmachine, Joshua Budich, Jay Shaw, Tyler Stout and New Flesh raising money for CALLM (Caring for adults with leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma – Manchester Royal Infirmary Charity) and CLIC Sargent (Children & Young People with Cancer). Selected artists work will include limited edition giclee prints (£20), limited edition screen prints (price TBA) and one-off pieces (prices TBA) with all profits going to the above mentioned Cancer Charities.
