Tim Mason looks set to continue his emphatic 2013 with a double-header of UK shows to sign off a March which has been furiously busy. He’s just got back from the States, where he played an eye-popping 11 events in the space of just over two weeks. Many of these were around Miami and the WMC, and Tim’s schedule included big dates with the likes of the Shelburne Hotel, No Sugar Added Festival, Wall and Exchange in LA.
He ends the month in the same style that he started it, having brought the house down in Newcastle and Liverpool for Elektriqa and Cream respectively at the beginning and now heading to Glasgow and London for the finale. Tim plays Cirque up in Scotland on Thursday 28th to kick-start the four-day weekend for the hedonists of the UK, before heading to South London’s rightfully feted Fire on Saturday.
It’s there in Vauxhall he’ll be part of a special fifth birthday celebrations for Nightowl, who also welcome ‘Tang’ producer Deniz Kyou and British house hero D Ramirez for what is set to be a pyrotechnic heavy affair of blistering beats. Tim’s festival sized main room house continues to win new fans and with the Pete Tong championed ‘Swoon’ still doing the rounds alongside his remix of ‘No one knows who we are’, the anthem by Kaskade and Swanky Tunes featuring Lights, we’re not likely to see the last of him just yet.
