Feenixpawl’s US Tour launches this week

Feenixpawl, have fast made their mark on the electronic music scene. Having garnered international support from the likes of Swedish House Mafia, Tiesto, Avicii, David Guetta and Kaskade, releasing a Number 1 single on Beatport, signing with globally renowned Axtone, and producing remixes for some of the world’s biggest dance labels including Big Beat, Ultra, and Neon Records. This week the Australian duo sets their eyes on the USA with the “In My Mind” tour – their first ever tour of the states.

It all took off in 2011. Their bootleg of Adele’s Rolling in the Deep hit music blogs, spreading like wildfire, gaining the boys international recognition. Within days of its creation it was being played on radio throughout Australia and became a regular tune in Kaskade’s play list after he dropped it at the iconic Pacha, NYC. Then the bomb hit…the final quarter of 2011 saw the boys collaborate with Ivan Gough, one half of the legendary Australian house duo TV Rock. The talent of singer/songwriter Georgi Kay rounded out this team and together they produced “In My Mind,” an epic and emotional big room tune which Axwell immediately secured for release on his label Axtone.

Upon its release in early 2012, “In My Mind” reached Number 1 on the Beaport charts within a week. It also reached Number 2 on the HypeMachine and DMCWorld Buzz Charts. Following the success of their hit single, Kaskade asked them to remix ‘Room For Happiness’ featuring Skylar Grey from his album Fire & Ice, and Adrian Lux enlisted them to remix his hit ‘Burning’ from his self-titled album.

Feenixpawl have fast built a reputation not only for the seemingly infinite amount of energy they bring to any setting, or their innate talent to create an incredible atmosphere out of thin air, but for their intrinsic ability to produce remarkable music.

HIIO Feat. Terri B! – Something About You

February 28, 2013

South American duo HIIO (pronounced H2O) have arrived in 2013 with their attempt at creating a classic house tune. There’s definitely some classic house vibes here in the synths, the Planet Perfecto influence is pretty obvious. But this track is much slower than anything Planet Perfecto ever put out, and as a result it’s not… View Article

Arty, Nadia Ali & BT – Must Be The Love (Official Music Video)

February 24, 2013

BT is a legend of Trance production, Nadia Ali is a legend of Trance vocals. Any team up between these two is bound to be good, but when you throw in relative newcomer but excellent producer Arty into the mix as well, are we witnessing collaborative genius or are too many cooks spoiling the broth?… View Article

Kirsty – Hands High (Afrojack Radio Edit)

February 23, 2013

Who is Kirsty? We don’t know either, but this looks like her attempt to crack the commercial dance scene and she’s enlisted the help of Afrojack who provides remix duties. Apparently Sander Van Doorn said “supporting!” and David Guetta said “huge!” Although we’d question how much thought they gave to their answers when questioned. The… View Article
