Parts of Creamfields site were “1.5m under water”

Everyone knows festivals turn into mud swamps, but with two weeks worth of rain in only a handful of hours, Creamfield’s was compromised and the organisers rightly cancelled the event.

The organisers are holding out on a decision regarding refunds. We would imagine a lot of this will come down to the artists, who would have been paid in advance. If they are happy to waiver their fees due to a now show then we would hope there will be a better chance of refunds for the festival-goers.

Creamfield’s is one of the most popular and well known dance music festivals in the UK.

Creamfield’s Statement:

For those people waiting to hear back regarding refunds, we apologise that we’ve not been able to release any further information on this as yet. We are pulling all the information together as fast as we can but its taking a little longer than anticipated – there are several parties involved in this process and we need to ensure we have all the details needed. Rest assured this is a top priority for us and we will come back to you as soon as possible, please bear with us.
