MoS team up with Nissan to release limited edition Juke

The Nissan Juke, you either love it or you hate it. It’s wicked looks are divisive, but here at Maxumi I’m personally a bit of a fan. Yeah it looks stupid, but much as I don’t obsess myself with being “different”, I also hate to be too much a part of a crowd and that’s why the Juke is appealing.

MoS already teamed up with Nissan and the Juke for the Nissan Jukebox events and the placing of a club-level sound system in the boot of the car. Crass marketing stunt or genuinely cool, I’m not entirely sure, but no doubt it appeals to many.

Don’t expect humongous sub-woofers stuffed into the boot of the limited edition Ministry of Sound Nissan Juke, however. What it does come with is MoS branding, tweaks to the exterior and interior of the car, exclusive colour schemes (white and black, predictably), a bundled iPod Touch and some vouchers for MoS.

If you’re already in the market for a new Juke and you’re a fan of MoS then this is for you. But without pricing it’s difficult to see whether it’s going to be worth the added expense or whether it will be fantastic value on top of a standard model.

Either way, it’s a Juke, so it’s still cool.

There’s definitely some classic house vibes here in the synths, the Planet Perfecto influence is pretty obvious. But this track is much slower than anything Planet Perfecto ever put out, and as a result it’s not… View Article

Arty, Nadia Ali & BT – Must Be The Love (Official Music Video)

February 24, 2013

BT is a legend of Trance production, Nadia Ali is a legend of Trance vocals. Any team up between these two is bound to be good, but when you throw in relative newcomer but excellent producer Arty into the mix as well, are we witnessing collaborative genius or are too many cooks spoiling the broth?… View Article

Kirsty – Hands High (Afrojack Radio Edit)

February 23, 2013

Who is Kirsty? We don’t know either, but this looks like her attempt to crack the commercial dance scene and she’s enlisted the help of Afrojack who provides remix duties. Apparently Sander Van Doorn said “supporting!” and David Guetta said “huge!” Although we’d question how much thought they gave to their answers when questioned. The… View Article
