So, summer has finally arrived fashionably late, albeit it quite in style with temperatures here in Brighton set to peak at 33 celsius on Friday. We hate to rub it in, but that’s hotter than Ibiza. Who needs the white isle?! So if you’re not heading there this summer, don’t despair, there’s still plenty on for you. One highlight is Standon Calling in Hertfordshire. This three day boutique festival features a diverse and brilliant line up, with Beardyman, Shy FX, Julio Bashmore, DJ EZ, Marcus Nasty and Toddla T providing some of the highlights.
Weekend tickets are £99, two day tickets £78, one day tickets £39 and the Friday one day ticket is £25.
The event also features extra activities such as a themed treasure hunt (interactive game for adults and children), a swimming pool (the only UK festival with a pool), Chillout area, Massage, Art, Poetry, Comedy and more.
Think of it as being like Latitude, but with a focus on dance music rather than Indie/Folk.
