It’s FOUND again, and this time comes courtesy of Blink who present an array of different electronic acts with a heavy Detroit influence, with experimental Jazz, Funk, RnB and techno DJ Jimmy Edgar taking the headline slot.

Wild Oats Records head honcho Kyle Hall, now a prominent name in the scene and also from Detroit, will support Edgar with his raw blend of techno and electronica, a set likely to be influenced by soul, gospel and jazz.

There’s further support from a multitude of acts from all corners of the globe, so make sure you check out the Facebook page. This is a solid event with a cracking line up with a true underground feel that should ooze with class.

If you’re looking at the latest dance music headlines and you’re getting tired of reading about Paris Hilton, Swedish House Mafia and Deadmau5, then re-ignite your passion for EDM and head on down to Blink. Your faith will be much restored.

February 24, 2013

BT is a legend of Trance production, Nadia Ali is a legend of Trance vocals. Any team up between these two is bound to be good, but when you throw in relative newcomer but excellent producer Arty into the mix as well, are we witnessing collaborative genius or are too many cooks spoiling the broth?… View Article

Kirsty – Hands High (Afrojack Radio Edit)

February 23, 2013

Who is Kirsty? We don’t know either, but this looks like her attempt to crack the commercial dance scene and she’s enlisted the help of Afrojack who provides remix duties. Apparently Sander Van Doorn said “supporting!” and David Guetta said “huge!” Although we’d question how much thought they gave to their answers when questioned. The… View Article
