Ken Loi is back with “All It Takes” – his first single since the critically acclaimed EP, “Play Me” (Big Beat) dropped back in February. Released on Tiësto’s Musical Freedom Records, “All It Takes” features the vocals of Miami based singer Zashanell and is in heavy rotation from heavy hitters including Tiësto, Kaskade, Adrian Lux, Bingo Players, Hardwell and more.

With his inventive originals, signature “boot-ups”, and remixes for the likes of Tiësto, Kaskade and Gym Class Heroes, Ken Loi has emerged as the up-and-coming DJ/Producer of the moment. Named as 2011’s breakthrough artist by Tiësto, it’s no wonder Ken was hand-picked by the man himself for the opening set in front of 27,000 fans at Tiësto’s history-making show at Los Angeles’ Home Depot Center.

Named by Tiësto as his breakthrough DJ/Producer of 2011 on DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJ poll, he’s taken 2012 by storm with his own “Ken Loi EP” (Big Beat) and remixes of Minx & Nordean”You & I (feat Erik Hecht)” and Gym Class Heroes “Ass Back Home.” Ken is also one of only four artists to be prominently featured in Supercuts national “Rock The Cut” marketing campaign.

There’s definitely some classic house vibes here in the synths, the Planet Perfecto influence is pretty obvious. But this track is much slower than anything Planet Perfecto ever put out, and as a result it’s not… View Article

Arty, Nadia Ali & BT – Must Be The Love (Official Music Video)

February 24, 2013

BT is a legend of Trance production, Nadia Ali is a legend of Trance vocals. Any team up between these two is bound to be good, but when you throw in relative newcomer but excellent producer Arty into the mix as well, are we witnessing collaborative genius or are too many cooks spoiling the broth?… View Article

Kirsty – Hands High (Afrojack Radio Edit)

February 23, 2013

Who is Kirsty? We don’t know either, but this looks like her attempt to crack the commercial dance scene and she’s enlisted the help of Afrojack who provides remix duties. Apparently Sander Van Doorn said “supporting!” and David Guetta said “huge!” Although we’d question how much thought they gave to their answers when questioned. The… View Article
