Forbes decides Dance Music exists after all

Ok – slight exaggeration, but the coverage this famous business publication is giving dance music is a little strange and possibly, slightly over the top. Not only have they named a bloke with a stupid hair cut from America (Skrillex) and some old timer geezer from the Netherlands (Tiesto) as two of the worlds most powerful celebrities, but they’ve even had a chat with Avicii.

Of course, we beat them to it many moons ago, but even though it’s an odd publication for Tim Berg to feature in, we do feel proud for the little Swedish fella, and he does seem to have managed, somehow, to keep his feet relatively grounded.

Kirsty – Hands High (Afrojack Radio Edit)

February 23, 2013

Who is Kirsty? We don’t know either, but this looks like her attempt to crack the commercial dance scene and she’s enlisted the help of Afrojack who provides remix duties. Apparently Sander Van Doorn said “supporting!” and David Guetta said “huge!” Although we’d question how much thought they gave to their answers when questioned. The… View Article
