March is Sharam’s time of year. Through the years, as a member of Deep Dish and as a solo artist, WMC and Miami Music Week have played a vital role in launching some of his biggest hits while playing host to some truly unforgettable events. This year, Sharam has some truly amazing WMC and Miami Music Week events lined up and it sets the stage for a massive spring/summer.

Kicking things off at WMC, Sharam presents his Yoshitoshi Records showcase at Mansion on Friday, March 17. The event features a headline set from Sharam, and a live performance from Paul Ritch. Segueing into Miami Music Week, Sharam heads over to Set on Thursday, March 22 for his “Sharam & Friends” party featuring sets from Nicole Moudaber, Layo & Bushwacka!, Ahmet Sedil and Sharam. Finally, Sharam headlines the Beach Arena at the Nikki Beach “No Sugar Added” party on Saturday, March 24.

One track you’re bound to hear – not only in Sharam’s sets, but all over Miami – is his latest single, “Our Love.” The original version stormed out of the gate in late 2011 but a fresh set of remixes are ready for Miami and release on March 27. The remix package takes Sharam’s multi-genre approach towards the original to the next level with three new versions of the hit track. First, young Spanish producer Heren turns in a synth driven rendition with subtle Dubstep influences. His remix builds on the original and takes things up a notch for the primetime floors. Dirtyloud, the Brazilian duo with a background of electro-house, psy-trance and dubstep, have recently dominated the charts and their remix of “Our Love” showcases their Dubstep prowess on a twisted re-imagination of the track. Lastly, Sharam dissects “Our Love” and reassembles it into a completely new primetime version inspired by the sound of his heroes of mid 90’s dance music scene.

Further down the road, on April 10, Sharam releases a brand new remix package for his track “Que Cubano;” a previously unreleased track and highlight of his acclaimed Warung Beach compilation. In addition to the original version, the package features remixes from Nicole Moudaber and Rene Kuppens.

Sharam is currently in the midst of one of his busiest times in years with lots of releases planned for the remainder of 2012 plus a brand new compilation due on Yoshitoshi later on this spring/early summer.

HIIO Feat. Terri B! – Something About You

February 28, 2013

South American duo HIIO (pronounced H2O) have arrived in 2013 with their attempt at creating a classic house tune. There’s definitely some classic house vibes here in the synths, the Planet Perfecto influence is pretty obvious. But this track is much slower than anything Planet Perfecto ever put out, and as a result it’s not… View Article

Arty, Nadia Ali & BT – Must Be The Love (Official Music Video)

February 24, 2013

BT is a legend of Trance production, Nadia Ali is a legend of Trance vocals. Any team up between these two is bound to be good, but when you throw in relative newcomer but excellent producer Arty into the mix as well, are we witnessing collaborative genius or are too many cooks spoiling the broth?… View Article

Kirsty – Hands High (Afrojack Radio Edit)

February 23, 2013

Who is Kirsty? We don’t know either, but this looks like her attempt to crack the commercial dance scene and she’s enlisted the help of Afrojack who provides remix duties. Apparently Sander Van Doorn said “supporting!” and David Guetta said “huge!” Although we’d question how much thought they gave to their answers when questioned. The… View Article
