A relative newcomer to the scene, Craig Connelly will be hoping that with Robot Wars comes a platform to project himself into the limelight. The synths are solid and the drop interesting but the track never really takes off for us. It sort of weaves its way around, but it would be hard to describe it as euphoric, even though technically it is certainly very solid.
Andrew Rayel however is able to inject more interest with his remix. The starting synths bounce around with vibrancy and the build ups are more enticing, with deeper drops. The second in particular is nothing short of spectacular with stunning choir samples that don’t drown out the synths but give the track that “big tune” feel.
And when it drops it is simply unbelievable. The melody is of course the same, but it’s ramped up, and oozing with energy and bursting with huge vibes. Whilst Craig Connelly will no doubt gain exposure, and whilst he is very talented, it is really Andrew Rayel here who steals the show and it will be surely be his remix you will be hearing.
