Following an acclaimed brace of releases in ‘Look Right Through’ and 2011’s follow-up ‘It Goes On’, Morgan Geist’s reincarnation as Storm Queen can surely be seen as nothing short of triumphant. Here, Defected have lined up an intimidating selection of artists to present their own interpretations of the debut Storm Queen release.

‘Look Right Through’ Part 2 is Out Today with two mixes from MK and a remix from Art Department. The Toronto duo have gone from strength to strength since their debut release in 2010, and their remix is typically stripped back and infectious, while NYC favourite MK drops two version, both of which are pure class from a producer who has rediscovered his passion for underground dance music.

And for those who need a little reminder of where it all started, the original mix now comes with an official music video, directed and produced by Neil Dowling and Nils Clauss of CONTENTed Films.

Kirsty – Hands High (Afrojack Radio Edit)

February 23, 2013

Who is Kirsty? We don’t know either, but this looks like her attempt to crack the commercial dance scene and she’s enlisted the help of Afrojack who provides remix duties. Apparently Sander Van Doorn said “supporting!” and David Guetta said “huge!” Although we’d question how much thought they gave to their answers when questioned. The… View Article
