Last time Dirty South and Thomas Gold collaborated we ended up with “Alive” which one of our favourite tracks of 2011. Deeply melodious and oozing with class it was a triumph of the synergy between the natural, beautiful female voice of Elsworth and the technical prowess of Gold/Souths producing abilities.

So it’s with some anticipation that we announce the up and coming “Eyes Wide Open”, a second collaboration between the three that looks set to continue their form.

Dirty South is renowned for his incredible adaptability and ability to gives tracks a uniform, encompassing feeling that makes them feel so much more complete. South also delivered a second smash for 2011 in the form of “Walking Alone” (with Gold) and also added his touch to huge tracks such as Skylar Grey’s “Invisible” and Diddy Dirty Moneys “Coming Home”.

But when it came to 2011 there was only one name on the lips of the likes of Axwell, Swedish House Mafia, Cosmic Gate and others for the current best producer/DJ out there – Thomas Gold. 2011 production/remix highlights include “Alive” (with Dirty South), a massive rework of “Marsch Marsch,” Hard Rock Sofa & St Brothers “Blow Up (Thomas Gold vs Axwell Remix),” Lady GaGa“Judas (Thomas Gold Remix),” Sander van Doorn “Reach Out (Thomas Gold Remix)”and Adele “Set Fire To The Rain (Thomas Gold Remix).” Thomas’ remix of “Set Fire To The Rain” was one of the biggest tracks of 2011 in both the clubs and the festival circuit.

HIIO Feat. Terri B! – Something About You

February 28, 2013

South American duo HIIO (pronounced H2O) have arrived in 2013 with their attempt at creating a classic house tune. There’s definitely some classic house vibes here in the synths, the Planet Perfecto influence is pretty obvious. But this track is much slower than anything Planet Perfecto ever put out, and as a result it’s not… View Article

Arty, Nadia Ali & BT – Must Be The Love (Official Music Video)

February 24, 2013

BT is a legend of Trance production, Nadia Ali is a legend of Trance vocals. Any team up between these two is bound to be good, but when you throw in relative newcomer but excellent producer Arty into the mix as well, are we witnessing collaborative genius or are too many cooks spoiling the broth?… View Article

Kirsty – Hands High (Afrojack Radio Edit)

February 23, 2013

Who is Kirsty? We don’t know either, but this looks like her attempt to crack the commercial dance scene and she’s enlisted the help of Afrojack who provides remix duties. Apparently Sander Van Doorn said “supporting!” and David Guetta said “huge!” Although we’d question how much thought they gave to their answers when questioned. The… View Article
