After being plagued with the flu virus the third instalment finally emerges with some “sick” music. Us Maxumiers are in love with the underground as we are the mainstream. As we dig deeper in to the underground, like a Meerkat digging its burrow, here are some crazy tunes that have been discovered along the way. This instalment focuses on the ultimate Facebook group for promoting underground music.
A.R- Future Problems
Maxumi takes a journey in to drum and bass and crosses a dark track. Future problems begins with fast flowing broken beats and resonating distorted blips soon to be joined by a fat bassline, followed by minimal drum and bass beat. The track also includes samples of The Matrix film. All of the instruments gel nicely together and what’s better is you don’t need a 10k sound system to feel the effects of this bad boy.
Alias 23- Fuck the Neighbours (DJ Set)
If you are an unfortunate individual who get’s disturbed by your neighbours on regular basis, then your solution will lie in this French-core mix that is full of bass, fast tempo, a crazy futuristic feel that gives you a sudden craving for raving. All tracks have been cleverly blended together. Alias brings us the fun, full on attitude that will even have angels crossing over to the dark-side just for the hardcore.
Keep your eyes peeled for the fourth instalment, where we unveil more mysteries. As part of Underground Season, keep browsing for more Interviews, Reviews and quirkiness.
