Lucid- “I can’t help myself” (Tim Mason Remix)

It’s a tough job resurrecting classics from the nineties and putting a modern take on them. If you remember the powerful haunting vocals and fat riffs, so fat that it would give a nightclub stretch-marks, expect the same impact. It’s easy to imagine how loud that bassline would be on a large sound system (i.e. earthquake).

Trance has never been this euphoric. Expect this to be the song where people come together rather than remain passing ships in the night and expect to wave your arms around like a zombie on speed.

As 2011 has been a big year for trance, we can expect more corkers coming out. Keep your eyes peeled and ears open for Tim Mason.

Kirsty – Hands High (Afrojack Radio Edit)

February 23, 2013

Who is Kirsty? We don’t know either, but this looks like her attempt to crack the commercial dance scene and she’s enlisted the help of Afrojack who provides remix duties. Apparently Sander Van Doorn said “supporting!” and David Guetta said “huge!” Although we’d question how much thought they gave to their answers when questioned. The… View Article
