A note from the editor regarding copyright infringement & content theft

It’s still happening. Yep, people are still copying our content, and posting it on their own websites. They don’t email me first to ask if it’s OK. They more than often don’t link back to our site, and often they even fail to credit us at all.
So this is my disclaimer. 90% of content on this website is original, and the copyright belongs to us. When we label our interviews exclusive – this means exactly that. It means we conducted the interview, and we wrote it up and edited the content.
Not everything we post is written by us. Sometimes we post releases, whereby re-writing them would be pointless.
But the content that we write, which constitutes a large proportion of this site, the copyright belongs to us. The sad reality is, there seems to be little we can do about those who steal our content. They hide behind proxies, fake names and dodgy hosting accounts.
But let me just say this. You can keep on stealing our work. You can keep copying, you can keep using our material without asking. But you will never take anything away from us.
Maxumi is awesome and makes me immensely proud. I’m proud of everyone that has ever contributed. I’m proud of the design and the content.
Nothing you people do will ever change that.
