As Summer is drawing to close, the fun never stops. The first of our Autumn madness begins with a jazzy Melody by none other than Ben Delay and Till West taking jazzy house to the next level. Unlike other tracks that contain sampled riffs, Delay and West have combined brass chords with playful equalising, so that the brass instruments don’t sound the same. Every four-eight bars are you’ll notice the refreshing modern take. In addition to these qualities clean hi-hats add to the authenticity of the jazz vibe. Shake It is so catchy and full of life that you’ll see a bunch of 1920’s flappers step out of their time machine on to the floors of Pacha (hopefully) at any moment. But until scientists have invented time travel, lets “Shake It”.

Kirsty – Hands High (Afrojack Radio Edit)

February 23, 2013

Who is Kirsty? We don’t know either, but this looks like her attempt to crack the commercial dance scene and she’s enlisted the help of Afrojack who provides remix duties. Apparently Sander Van Doorn said “supporting!” and David Guetta said “huge!” Although we’d question how much thought they gave to their answers when questioned. The… View Article
