Toolroom Knights at Ministry of Sound, London – 26th February

One of the most globally recognised independent dance labels and successful events brands returnto Ministry of Sound on Saturday 26th February for the first of their London 2011 parties. Following on from their sell out New Years Eve event, Mark Knight has once again gone all out to bring you one of the strongest Toolroom Knights line-ups to-date that will coincide with the launch of the highly anticipated Umek Toolroom Knights album.

It was nearly two years ago that Wolfgang Gartner made his debut for TK in the Box, in recent times he has become a worldwide phenomenon with his unique big room sound, so we felt it was abouttime we brought back to unleash him on the Ministry faithful. He has had numerous forward thinking productions under his belt which consistently top the download charts, most notably his recent Beatport No.1 ‘Conscindo’ collaboration with main man Mark Knight.

It goes without saying that Mark (currently on tour in the US for 2 months) is one of the clubs favourite residents, he always knows how to work the crowd into a frenzy, leaving the punters wanting more. Expect bespoke visuals, air horns, CO2 cannons and underground house pumping out the DJ booth, keeping you on your toes for the long awaited arrival of Umek. Though no strangerto Ministry of Sound, this will be Umeks Saturday Sessions debut! Celebrating the launch of hisToolroom Knights compilation due out in March, he will be sampling tracks from the album andtearing up the speakers…. taking you on a journey through the darker side of electronic music.

Leaders of the New School takeover the 103 flying in Gabriel Rocha all the way from South America .Gabriel aka DJ PP has been causing a stir all over the world with his current releases and is hyped to have one of the biggest years of his career to date. Playing for the first time on UK shores he debuts his sound for 2011 at Toolroom Knights, alongside Filthy Rich and the ever faithful Toolroom Knights residents Mark Storie, Gina Star & Pete Griffiths.
