matter to return 2011

Just 6 months ago Matter shut its doors and London mourned the apparent loss of another huge clubbing institution. But have no fear, the superclub has announced it will return 2011, and we expect it will be bigger and better than ever.

Founded in 2008 as the sister venue to London’s legendary Fabric club in Farringdon, the modern venue combined three floors, a body kinetic dancefloor and 2600 capacity, however it was doomed by poor transport connections to its home at the 02 Arena in Greenwich.

Matter will return under the leadership of events company AEG, which currently runs the 02. A reopening date is yet to be confirmed.

Kirsty – Hands High (Afrojack Radio Edit)

February 23, 2013

Who is Kirsty? We don’t know either, but this looks like her attempt to crack the commercial dance scene and she’s enlisted the help of Afrojack who provides remix duties. Apparently Sander Van Doorn said “supporting!” and David Guetta said “huge!” Although we’d question how much thought they gave to their answers when questioned. The… View Article
