The Berlin based dj and producer will appear alongside Danny Howells on Saturday 27th November at Shindig; the Newcastle based clubbing institute known for bringing the best in House, Techno and Electronic music to the North East for almost two decades.
Danny Howells has acquired a hard-earned reputation as not only one of dance music’s most reliable DJs and producers but as one of Shindig’s most respected and undoubtedly favorite guests. Whereas for many the word ‘reliable’ often signifies a tendency to stick to one style and offer few surprises, Danny is different: he’s maintained a impressive worldwide fan base through his consistent willingness to experiment and a taste for musical genres far beyond house & techno..
Since 1992, Shindig has become one of the North East’s most notorious house and techno parties and November sees much loved Danny return to Shindig at World Headquarters for a unique chance to witness one of dance music’s pace setters in such a small venue.
Joining him we are proud to bring to Newcastle one of Berlin’s youngest yet hugely applauded talents Alex Niggemann. Producing since the tender age of 17; a move to Berlin in 2005 to study music resulted in work experience with Get Physical’s DJ T, with such as talented tutor his first release, a remix of Booka Shade’s ‘Darko’ soon followed. Alex’s productions have since enjoyed a solid reputation and huge support; so its no surprise to see him currently stood proud at number 8 position on Resident Advisor’s “Top 20 Charted Artists”…
