Ten years after they opened the doors on the now legendary Sugarbeatclub night, Utah Saints announce their new label Sugarbeat and along with it comes its first release Drop the Bomb/Eat em up by Santero featuring Credit to the Nation. Sigarbeatclub night was started by Tim Utah and Jez Willis of Utah Saints fame and can now lay claim to being one of the UK’s favourite regular nights. The night has hosted all kinds of DJ talent from A-trak, Justice and 2ManyDJs through to DJ Yoda, Zane Lowe, High Contrast and Annie Mac.

A key event in cities across the UK such as Leeds, Edinburgh, London and Leicester as well as Ireland, Sugarbeatclub has also hosted at various festivals. Due to this success, it was clear a label was the next club for the pioneering Saints. First release is the expertly delivered Drop the Bomb produced by Santero and featuring the vocal talents of Matthew (Matty) Hanson aka MC Fusion, front man of Hip Hop legends Credit to the Nation who had major chart success with the Nirvana sampling hit Call it what you want. This highly charged club banger is backed up with remixes by Deekline and Tombcrew and the flip cut Eat em Up is already receiving club support from the likes of Black Noise and Calvertron.

Release Date: 20/09/2010
Catalogue Number SUGBT001

To celebrate this news, Utah Saints have put together a special 1 hour mix, which features some great remixes of familiar tracks such as SWM’s One and the Chemical Brothers Swoon. Check it out below.

HIIO Feat. Terri B! – Something About You

February 28, 2013

South American duo HIIO (pronounced H2O) have arrived in 2013 with their attempt at creating a classic house tune. There’s definitely some classic house vibes here in the synths, the Planet Perfecto influence is pretty obvious. But this track is much slower than anything Planet Perfecto ever put out, and as a result it’s not… View Article

Arty, Nadia Ali & BT – Must Be The Love (Official Music Video)

February 24, 2013

BT is a legend of Trance production, Nadia Ali is a legend of Trance vocals. Any team up between these two is bound to be good, but when you throw in relative newcomer but excellent producer Arty into the mix as well, are we witnessing collaborative genius or are too many cooks spoiling the broth?… View Article

Kirsty – Hands High (Afrojack Radio Edit)

February 23, 2013

Who is Kirsty? We don’t know either, but this looks like her attempt to crack the commercial dance scene and she’s enlisted the help of Afrojack who provides remix duties. Apparently Sander Van Doorn said “supporting!” and David Guetta said “huge!” Although we’d question how much thought they gave to their answers when questioned. The… View Article
