Yes, we mean you, tunage taste-makers of the future. Are you tired of toiling behind your Technics/Pioneers with an appreciative audience of one (cat)? Do you long for an outlet for your musical endeavours? Dying for some recognition? We need to hear from you.

Here at Maxumi we are on a mission to make Mondays awesome, by bringing you the finest in new DJ talent at the start of every week, and we’re searching the land to find it. We’re not bothered too much about what you play, just that if you think it’s worth an ear, we’ll do our best to listen to it and let you know what we think.

Send a link to your best work on your Mixcloud account (no longer than 45 minutes long please) to and you could be featured as our Guest DJ of the Week. With a guaranteed audience of more than one cat.

Get mixing and good luck!

Kirsty – Hands High (Afrojack Radio Edit)

February 23, 2013

Who is Kirsty? We don’t know either, but this looks like her attempt to crack the commercial dance scene and she’s enlisted the help of Afrojack who provides remix duties. Apparently Sander Van Doorn said “supporting!” and David Guetta said “huge!” Although we’d question how much thought they gave to their answers when questioned. The… View Article
