This Wednesday (14th July 2010) will see Warung Ibiza building on the great success of its first two weeks of remarkable parties.

Warung has managed to effectively bring over the carnival atmosphere of the extraordinary beach club in Brazil to the White Isle with a mixture of house and techno, veteran DJs and rising stars.

The stylish acts continue with a live set from man of the moment Popof who will be making his Ibiza debut at Warung. Popof’s broad appeal will suit the culture in place at Warung Ibiza where mixing up different sounds provides the perfect backdrop to the bright surroundings. Yet another live set comes from the inimitable Aril Brikha who is yet another boundary crossing DJ to play at Warung Ibiza bringing his Assyrian influences to the colourful scenes of the main room.

A key characteristic of Warung is its global appeal to all – demonstrated as this week’s line-up goes on. Experienced Italian producer Francesco Farfa will no-doubt play a typically vibrant set for his “farfanatics” with Warung’s own Daniel Kuhnen setting the mood with his fusion of different musical styles.  The Coco Loco room hosts this week are Soulfooled meets Ibiza Undersound and the line-up is brimming with talent, as well as being yet another showcase for underground house. Soulfooled label boss Alex Niggeman heads the bill and whose sophisticated set at the opening party went down a storm. In demand tech house specialist Gorge will be playing a typically passionate set and fellow Germans Superlounge are ready to captivate the crowds with their deep moving sound. Balearic based maestro Rod Maya finishes the line-up of what looks set to be a memorable night in Coco Loco.

HIIO Feat. Terri B! – Something About You

South American duo HIIO (pronounced H2O) have arrived in 2013 with their attempt at creating a classic house tune. There’s definitely some classic house vibes here in the synths, the Planet Perfecto influence is pretty obvious. But this track is much slower than anything Planet Perfecto ever put out, and as a result it’s not… View Article

Arty, Nadia Ali & BT – Must Be The Love (Official Music Video)

February 24, 2013

BT is a legend of Trance production, Nadia Ali is a legend of Trance vocals. Any team up between these two is bound to be good, but when you throw in relative newcomer but excellent producer Arty into the mix as well, are we witnessing collaborative genius or are too many cooks spoiling the broth?… View Article

Kirsty – Hands High (Afrojack Radio Edit)

February 23, 2013

Who is Kirsty? We don’t know either, but this looks like her attempt to crack the commercial dance scene and she’s enlisted the help of Afrojack who provides remix duties. Apparently Sander Van Doorn said “supporting!” and David Guetta said “huge!” Although we’d question how much thought they gave to their answers when questioned. The… View Article
