Kananga – Thomas Gold

Summer is here, and whilst everybody else here has buggered off to enjoy the thirty-degree heat, I’m stuck in waiting for a delivery. I’ll have the last laugh though, when they come back looking roasted, burnt and grubby. Bahaha. Meanwhile, my spirits were temporarily lifted by checking out some of the summery-house currently available on Beatport. That old favourite Yousef has recently put together a chart called Join the Revolution. I’m not entirely sure what revolution he’s on about, but if the chart is anything to go by, it sounds like a pretty good one. Featuring the likes of Robert Dietz and his lovely track Soup Opera, as well as the eye-wateringly salacious Carambolo by Kaiserdisco, the chart is also bolstered by Yousefs own “My Explanation”. Get on there now and pump up the summer vibes: Click Here – £14.54.
But if £14.54 sounds a bit too much for you, then at the very least check out the recent Thomas Gold release Kananga. It’s better than his other recent releases, though not much of a deviation from his sound and the track sounds eerily similar to the productions of the aforementioned German duo Kaiserdisco. Check it out anyway, and don’t forget to snigger at the copyright message at the beginning. Remember kids, downloading tracks off Youtube is illegal!
