writers for maxumi magazine

Since Maxumi launched in February 2010, the site has gone from a casual blog to a fully fledged, well respected dance music magazine featuring exclusive content, reviews and interviews with some of the biggest names in dance music. It’s been an incredible experience, and now is the time to take Maxumi to the next level.

We’re looking for individuals who are passionate about dance music and love writing to contribute to Maxumi. We can’t pay you for the privilege, not yet anyway, but we will give you full credit, access to our business contacts (including PR agencies and record labels) and you may even get an opportunity to interview a star. But best of all, you gain experience with your work being featured on one of the most up and coming dance music websites in the world.

If you think this sounds like you then we would love to hear from you. Drop us an email with a short, 200 word review of a new release off Juno Download and a copy of your CV and we’ll get back to you.

To apply, send your email to ed[@]maxumi.co.uk (remove the [‘s).

But this track is much slower than anything Planet Perfecto ever put out, and as a result it’s not… View Article

Arty, Nadia Ali & BT – Must Be The Love (Official Music Video)

February 24, 2013

BT is a legend of Trance production, Nadia Ali is a legend of Trance vocals. Any team up between these two is bound to be good, but when you throw in relative newcomer but excellent producer Arty into the mix as well, are we witnessing collaborative genius or are too many cooks spoiling the broth?… View Article

Kirsty – Hands High (Afrojack Radio Edit)

February 23, 2013

Who is Kirsty? We don’t know either, but this looks like her attempt to crack the commercial dance scene and she’s enlisted the help of Afrojack who provides remix duties. Apparently Sander Van Doorn said “supporting!” and David Guetta said “huge!” Although we’d question how much thought they gave to their answers when questioned. The… View Article
