Girls and DJs are possibly our two favourite kinds of people. So you can imagine how excited we get when the two combine – here we feature some of the sexiest, most talented and upcoming female DJs in the world. Breastacular!

Since winning the NextGen DJ Competition, these sisters from New Zealand have exploded onto the scene. Playing at some of the biggest events on the year alongside the likes of Sebastien Ingrosso, it must be hard to fathom how the girls have felt about their sudden instant popularity.

“We are ready to take this on…
You can expect a fun vibe, and to hear music we love to play

”  – Maya & Vanya April 2010 NextGen DJ

Perhaps more surprising is that we haven’t yet seen either or both smeared across the cover of a mens mag, but who could blame them…

DJ Korsakoff

DJ Korsakoff

She’s been in FHM, and now Maxumi. DJ Korsakoff  is a popular hardcore techno DJ from the Netherlands . In 2001 she made the breakthrough with her hit single Separated Worlds . With further releases such as Tamara (2002) and My Empty Bottle (2003), she is known in the scene throughout Europe.

“Originality is the key nowadays with so many dj’s wanting to break through, you really have to have your own sound or style to break the market now and make people take notice of you” – Lisa Lashes October 2009

Probably one of the worlds favourite Female DJs. She’s loud, brash, and plays no-nonsense Hard Dance. She has played at European festivals such as Global Gathering, Creamfields and Dance Valley, and UK parties such as Godskitchen, Gatecrasher and Storm. She has headlined the Lashed in Ibiza parties, and has toured China, Canada, United States of America, Netherlands, Russia, Australia, New Zealand and Japan. She has also recorded a series of albums, titled “Euphoria”.

Lisa’s latest venture was the launch of her own record label, Lashed Music, which has licensed tracks to numerous albums wordwide; including Q-Dance, Ministry of Sound, Tidy, Tunnel & D-Trance.

Colleen Shannon

She’s not Irish and she’s nothing to do with Wayne Rooney, in fact she’s a Playboy Girl. Arguably more a pin-up then a genuinely talented DJ, she isn’t going to be everyones idea of a headline act. Sure, she isn’t as technically proficient as Deadmau5, or as energetic as Judge Jules, but would you really rather see on the decks some bloke in a stupid mouse hat or a geezer with yellow sunglasses….over this beauty? Really?

DJ Tamara Sky

Although she has also posed for Playboy, Miss Sky isn’t a Playboy pin-up. This Puerto Rican beauty is the real deal, a genuine DJ whilst also a model. Give her a pair of 1210s, and Tamara Sky is more than happy, this girl is no laptop hotshot. She’s also started producing her own tracks, describing some as “very hard and violent”. Nice to know how you like it, Tamara.

HIIO Feat. Terri B! – Something About You

February 28, 2013

South American duo HIIO (pronounced H2O) have arrived in 2013 with their attempt at creating a classic house tune. There’s definitely some classic house vibes here in the synths, the Planet Perfecto influence is pretty obvious. But this track is much slower than anything Planet Perfecto ever put out, and as a result it’s not… View Article

Arty, Nadia Ali & BT – Must Be The Love (Official Music Video)

February 24, 2013

BT is a legend of Trance production, Nadia Ali is a legend of Trance vocals. Any team up between these two is bound to be good, but when you throw in relative newcomer but excellent producer Arty into the mix as well, are we witnessing collaborative genius or are too many cooks spoiling the broth?… View Article

Kirsty – Hands High (Afrojack Radio Edit)

February 23, 2013

Who is Kirsty? We don’t know either, but this looks like her attempt to crack the commercial dance scene and she’s enlisted the help of Afrojack who provides remix duties. Apparently Sander Van Doorn said “supporting!” and David Guetta said “huge!” Although we’d question how much thought they gave to their answers when questioned. The… View Article
