Chemical BrothersIntergalactic rave behemoths The Chemical Brothers have announced their studio return with the release of album ‘Further’ on June 7. Three years after dropping acclaimed ‘We are the night’, and following a touring schedule that’s blown the roofs off thousands of parties and a hole in the ozone layer, Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons are back, but not (quite) as you know them. “For a band used to dealing in psychedelics, this time round The Chemical Brothers have really pushed the proverbial envelope,” says a spokesperlady for the duo. Not only that, but ‘Further’s’ psychedelic escapades will be accompanied by eight individual films corresponding to each track – all directed by Marcus Lyall and Adam Smith, the guys behind the Chemicals’ infamously trip-tastic live visuals. Those of you Irish enough to have bagged tickets to the boys’ Roundhouse shows (May 20-23), or any of their summer festival appearances, can expect a full audio-visual smorgasbord, with both the album and accompanying visual stimuli played out in their entirety. HIIO Feat. Terri B! – Something About You

February 28, 2013

But this track is much slower than anything Planet Perfecto ever put out, and as a result it’s not… View Article

Arty, Nadia Ali & BT – Must Be The Love (Official Music Video)

February 24, 2013

BT is a legend of Trance production, Nadia Ali is a legend of Trance vocals. Any team up between these two is bound to be good, but when you throw in relative newcomer but excellent producer Arty into the mix as well, are we witnessing collaborative genius or are too many cooks spoiling the broth?… View Article

Kirsty – Hands High (Afrojack Radio Edit)

February 23, 2013

Who is Kirsty? We don’t know either, but this looks like her attempt to crack the commercial dance scene and she’s enlisted the help of Afrojack who provides remix duties. Apparently Sander Van Doorn said “supporting!” and David Guetta said “huge!” Although we’d question how much thought they gave to their answers when questioned. The… View Article
